The long warm sunny spell ended this morning with rain showers. The sun broke through to shine on Three Brothers Peak.

Last week the temperatures ranged from highs in the upper 70's to a low of 29 degrees. We have not had the cool mornings that fall generally brings. The forecast for the coming week is sunny days and cooler nights.

The aspen have completed turning color, while the maples are halfway through the color change. The larch have just started to turn. The next two weeks wll be the peak of the fall color season. Hopefully, with the cooler temperatures Three Brothers Peak will get a mantle of snow to complement the fall colors in the meadow.
