Flowers and Elk....

The Camas is blooming in the meadow.

Most of the elk are in the far end of the meadow.

However, at dusk some come up the house to say hi.  And its then that you realize just how big elk are in size.

The fire in Poison Creek last fall was much cooler than originally thought.  There is lots of green still left in that watershed.  More green than burned trees....so that inversion ended up being a beautiful underburn.

Year in year out...the Camas blooms every spring and reminds us why it is named Camas Meadows.
