First Snow!

First snow becomes the first snowman of the season.

Our guests last weekend had three little girls that took the time to build a snowman on the deck!

We were particularly impressed with the Ponderosa pine hair. But it definitely looks like it is starting to thin on top!

Well, it was actually the second snowfall. The first was October 18th, but it quickly melted. This snowfall looks like it is going to be around for the season. It looks like it will be a snowy winter. There is additional snow forecast for the start of next week.

The grasses are still sticking out above the snow, but the next couple of snowfalls should cover the meadow just in time for skiing.

We are open until December 7th. We are also open from December 19th through the 24th. If you are interested in these dates.

New Year's weekend and Martin Luther's Day are booked in January. Other weekends are still open.

Keep watching the blog for updated snow reports.
