Snow and more snow was the theme for December. The snow at the meadow normally peaks the first week of February. This year we have reached our normal maximum in late December. Check the snow level on the photo versus the one in early December.

The snow is powder. For now, we are following our neighbor's ski tracks in the meadow. As the snow settles it will be much easier to strike out on one's own across the meadow.

Starting the first weekend of January we are open for bookings. Both Martin Luther King and President's Day holidays are open. Perfect time to try out snowshoeing, skiing across the meadow, or watching the kids sled!

Mornings are always special at Camas. Sunday's morning sunrise was one of those special days at Camas. The sunrise lead to brillant sunshine that is only found in the mountans.

The powder snow has made for perfect cross-country skiing in the meadow.

The clear skies have brought cold temperatures with the high temperatures reaching only into the mid-20's. But out in the sun it feels much, much warmer.
