October Fall Colors
This time of year high pressure cells occasionally weaken over eastern Washington and clouds and rain cross over the Cascade crest. The rain is usually followed by crystal clear blue skies, but it changes the mornings.
At Camas Meadows the moisture results in a meadow ground fog right at sunrise. This results in great views from the deck. Sip your morning cup of coffee and watch the sun begin to burn the fog away.

This Sunday morning we took the 3.8 mile hike around the meadow to admire the fall foliage. Some of the unconventional aspen trees have taken a reddish tinge to complement the yellow color of their neighbors. We are not sure how the "yellow" aspens feel about this.
